You were not supposed to get this far. But you were right. All channels are being opened. The TADH will contact you again.

“No — but don’t you see!” you insisted.

For months, you had been pushing your findings upward through the chain of command.
One officer after another. Higher clearance levels. Closed doors. Dismissal after dismissal.

You were just another one of those “signal listeners” chasing things that weren’t there. And still… you kept sending. There was something in the data. A pattern. A veil over the signal that no one seemed willing—or able—to acknowledge.

At first, they ignored you. Then they told you to stop. Then finally you reached the highest-ranking officer personally — and were turned down again. And yet… something about your analysis didn’t let him forget. He began to look. Quietly. Alone. And now—

A reply arrives. Not from the system. From him personally on an encrypted channel. And signed Threshold Anomaly Division Headquarters (TADH):
