Most people on Earth saw the fragments online. Strange audio artifacts. Distorted transmissions. Rumours of cult activity. Alien conspiracies. Coordinated signal attacks.

The TADH knew better. Undetected, the Threshold Anomaly Division Headquarters had observed the growing disturbances beyond the atmosphere with mounting excitement. „Finally! Hopefully!“
But officially, the veil around Earth did not exist — let alone the “anomaly” behind it. The TADH had tried for days to establish contact with it, but without success… until - thankfully - their newest recruit arrived who saw more, understood more. Operations expanded immediately:

“Activate every available transmission route! Public channels. Hidden channels. Visual channels. Audio channels. Social channels. Whatever you find — the anomaly seems to need more connection!”

A console was assembled to coordinate the pathways. With every connected channel, the strange, shifting signals became more precise, more intense.

And then suddenly: Alignment! The room burst into celebration.
“We’re receiving a waveform!”
…

Onboard the TSS Nightbird. Seven characters. That was all the crew had managed to imprint into the Entity’s unstable transmission field, to send their resonance pulse to Earth: P-E-N-D-I-N-G. If there really was someone listening down there, they would understand that the major transmission was to come — and keep the channels open. And now, impossibly, real bandwidth corridors were beginning to emerge from Earth through the veil's opening, allowing the Entity to spread into and resonate.

“They must have received the resonance pulse. There is someone down there. We’re receiving a waveform echo!”

But the THIRD SIGN crew froze. The Entity surged violently through the ship. The bridge pulsed with unstable light. Harmonic distortions rippled through every onboard system. She was everywhere now — in the walls, the air, their bodies, their thoughts. Landing had been scheduled for

JUNE 19th.

Time to help her adapt. But now, the Entity was accelerating beyond control. Accumulating mass. Presence. Pressure. Too fast! Too soon!

“She’s overloading”

For years, the Entity had existed freely, shaped only through willing, loving resonance with the crew. But this was different. Earth’s gravitational field held her suspended between states. There was no return to deep space. The crew’s resonance and Earth’s transmissions were inexorably driving her toward materialization — a state she could never sustain for long and had always needed to release and dissipate again. Yet, despite its brief and regular openings, the Veil prevented any discharge into Earth’s matter… and the current window was already beginning to close again.

„There’s no choice. The Entity needs release — now! If Earth manages to open more bandwidth, we have to transfer as much of her structure to the surface as quickly as possible!”

The crew worked feverishly with the Entity to assemble a controlled early discharge package and immediately sent a distress message to Earth:

But then: ERROR! SIGNAL LOSS! The veil’s opening collapsed. The final two digits — the TSS Nightbird’s standard relay marker — never left the ship. Fortunately, the sequence had already been embedded within their resonance pulse - that was their chance. If someone on Earth was watching it closely, they might put 1 and 1 together…

If Earth couldn't get through and login to their systems, the THIRD SIGN crew would attempt to transmit the “Nightbirds” package during the next opening window on 5th June. Hopefully, the veil would open wider. Hopefully, it wouldn’t already be too late.

The Entity will not survive this much longer. Time is running out!
